Designed for simple yet versatile installation, the Water-Tite Econo Box Center-Drain Washing Machine Outlet Box is thoughtfully constructed to reduce labor for contractors and homeowners. This outlet box comes with pre-installed quarter-turn brass valves and features a box design that can be inverted for top-mount valves with a center drain. Integrated hammer arresters inside the valves absorb sudden pressure changes to reduce stress on the plumbing system, providing continuous and maintenance-free protection against water hammer. The EZ Out test cap is raised for quick removal, and the knockouts are oversized, so they won’t fall down the drain. And thanks to a single-piece construction that includes a raised drip guard, any potential hose or valve leaks will be contained and sent directly down the drain instead of onto the laundry room wall and floor. Featuring a one-piece design, this washing machine outlet box can be installed more quickly than separate drain and valve boxes. It comes with a snap-on faceplate that measures 10-3/16 inches wide by 8-13/16 inches high and is interchangeable with DU-All outlet-box faceplates. Choose from a standard pack with an attached faceplate or a contractor pack with an unattached faceplate.
