Collierville, Tenn., December 14, 2012 — The “Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act” (Federal Public Law 111‐380) will become effective January 4, 2014. This new legislation affects Water‐Tite and Guy Gray branded Ice Maker and Dishwasher Outlet Boxes, Hammer Arresters, and Angle Stop and Toilet Connection Boxes (Toilet Connection Boxes as they can be used as Angle Stops). The non‐compliant versions of these products cannot be installed after January 4, 2014, and there is no grandfather provision for their installation after this date.
