Effectively seal and lubricate your pipe threads with Weld-On Extra Duty Thread Seal Tape with PTFE. This seal tape is made with hydrophobic PTFE to repel water for a secure seal and is safe for potable water systems. It is great for use in pressurized water systems, central heating systems, and air compression equipment and is compatible with national pipe threads between 1/2 and 2 inches. This pink seal tape prevents rusting and seizing, reduces friction between pipe and fitting, and makes it easier to unscrew the joint.
